Anyone who has ever painted a ceiling knows it is hard work! The ceilings and walls are finished thanks to the volunteers in the Sheriff's Inmate Trustee program. The shelter more awesome than ever - be sure to stop by and see it.

Psssst... Are you looking for a good cause to help?
The shelter building is almost done. Now we need to furnish it with kennel gates, cat cages, supplies for the veterinary clinic, and lots of other stuff.
If you or your group is looking for a good cause for your next fundraiser, please consider making it the Claiborne Animal Shelter.
We're researching the materials and will soon have a list of items we need and their cost. Then we'll be looking for folks to raise the money to buy them.
So, start thinking now about sponsoring a dog kennel, cat cage, vet examination table...we'll even put a plaque with your name or your organization on the purchased items!
